LoveSpeaksOut
LoveSpeaksOut is a youth-adult speaker’s bureau that engages, educates, and empowers youth to speak out against teen dating violence to create a world where all teens experience healthy relationships.
Speakers attend a four and a half hour training to learn about teen dating violence and how to make compelling presentations based in active learning. Speakers are partnered (one youth and one adult) for each presentation. Presentations are set up by request and can be made to fit any time period and any audience.
By the end of all presentations, we want to all audience members to understand:
- What is teen dating violence?
- What do healthy and unhealthy relationships look like?
- What are the red flags or warning signs of abuse? and
- What resources are available for teen dating violence?
