My Next Girlfriend

“My Next Girlfriend was created in 2010 by Dr. Shanti Kulkarni of UNC Charlotte’s School of Social Work. It was the first in a series of initiatives designed to develop youth-led dating violence outreach and education to enhance and broaden community teen dating violence efforts.

“My Next Girlfriend is a video education tool designed to convey essential teen dating violence information to those who work with youth on a daily basis. The video helps professionals to understand the experience of dating violence from a youth perspective and helps them develop the basic skills they need to intervene with teen victims and perpetrators.”
